What with Thai people’s heart?

For me, there is no doubt that how Thai people love our king. But for some reason and for somebody they somehow don’t understand that.

How we love our king? Why we love our king? Do we love him because he is the king?
I think there are a thousand answers that surrounding in Thai people heart.

Last few days ago, our king has taken to the hospital after feeling weak in the right side of his majesty. The condition improved after treatment but requires further observation.

What with the hearts?

I woke up the next morning and I was about to chat with my friend, but suddenly I noticed something wrong on my MSN. There were so many hearts (msn emotical).

Why people put the heart? What with the heart?

Suddenly I know the answer, I know why, and I can’t help to put (L) too.
For some reason, I don’t think I’m in the right place to give anybody the answer of the question “Why we love our king”. It wasn’t that I don’t have an answer. But may be we love our king the same way that how you love your father. May be that is no need an explanation and may be there is someone out there for you to love and respect, and it has got nothing to do with ‘why’ and ‘how’.

you are entitled to say "I..." because you live in his country. i admire your dedication and that shows how you love your country.

sadly, you will cross or encounter people (especially american tourist) being ignorant, of course not all americans are ignorant, just know that there are lots of people who're on your side against 1. make him/her feel moaded for all i care.

im not thai, but i love my country too (philippines) i just hate how the way they rule. -__-

and to might add, thailand is one of the places i'd like to visit, besides japan and korea. ^__^

I don't know anything about the Thai King, but if you love him he must be a good guy. I wish him well.

I will admit that when I started doing some research on Thailand before my visit I I was a bit surprised at the love Thais expressed for the King and maybe even thought it was silly. But once I got there and learned more about the King and everything he's done to help the country, it became very clear why the Thai people love their king. It was also clear that he deserves that love and affection.

Long live the King!

Paxton, it's really quite amazing that the King has no written political power and yet is the most powerful man in Thailand. That's solely because of the what he's done for the people of Thailand.
